2013 opening for London Gateway

THE new London Gateway deepwater shipping port, being built on the site of the former Shellhaven site at Stanford-le-Hope, Essex, is on track to open in the last quarter of 2013. The development, a 9million sq ft logistics park with an initial capacity of 1,6million 20ft long containers, will create some 36,000 jobs. Rail facilities at the terminal will be enhanced as part of the development by DP World.
