Speedy overhaul for 'Duchess'

WITH most of the work on the boiler of the Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust's No. 6233 Duchess of Sutherland completed, LNWR Heritage, Crewe were fitting new tubes at the beginning of July. The superheater elements and flue tubes were in hand and the boiler was expected to have returned to the PRCLT at Butterley by the time this RM is published.
