The overhaul of LMS 'Duchess' No. 6233 Duchess of Sutherland, owned by the Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust (PRCLT), will be boosted by readers if they choose to book a seat on any of four steam tours being promoted to raise funds for the overhaul. Tickets are on sale now from PMRTours, the tour section of the PRCLT. The first runs on May 21 when the Stanier Pacific No. 6201 Princess Elizabeth hauls 'The Yorkshire Coronation'from Derby to York and Scarborough and back. The service is diesel-hauled between Sheffield and Derby in each direction.
