'King's ransom paid as 6024 joins the Hoskins loco fleet

OWNERSHIP of GWR 'King' No. 6024 King Edward 1 was transferred to the Royal Scot Locomotive Group Trust (RSLGT) of which Jeremy Hosking is a trustee (RM April). The ownership change was ratified at the 6024 Society's annual meeting at STEAM Museum in Swindon on March 5 and was described by a 6024 Society spokesman "as a very satisfying meeting".
