East Coast has revamped its winter weekend timetable to allow Saturday night travellers later departures from London. Two new Saturday night services are a 21.00 from London King's Cross to Newcastle, calling at Peterborough, York, Northallerton, Darlington and Durham, and a 22.00 from King's Cross to Leeds, calling at Peterborough, Grantham, Newark Northgate, Retford, Doncaster and Wakefield Westgate. Previously, the latest services to Newcastle and Leeds were at 20.30 and 20.00 respectively. On Sunday mornings, new services at 08.00 from York and 08.05 from Leeds arrive in the capital at 10.23 and 10.33 respectively.
