Brunswick Green for Tornado

The A1 Steam Trust's A1 No.60163 Tornado will be reliveried in the NRM's workshops at York after the Christmas charter season. The engine's first trip sporting a Brunswick Green livery will take place on February 26 with Steam Dreams' The White Rose'from King's Cross to Leeds. The loco has been solely operated by DB Shenker, but the A1 Steam Trust has confirmed that duties will be shared by the West Coast Railway Company and DBS in 2011. The number of A1ST covenantors has reached 2,500 and more would be welcomed as the trust estimates that repairs to the engine during 2010 and consequential lost earnings have cost them ￡125,000.
