Bombardier to run commuter trains on the USA's oldest passenger line

The Maryland Board of Public Works has awarded Bombardier Transportation (BT) a $205m service contract to operate MARC commuter rail services on the Camden (Baltimore Camden-Washington DC) and Brunswick (Martinsburg- Washington DC) commuter rail lines from June 2013. BT will replace CSX Transportation, which wished to stop operating the commuter passenger rail service.
