More Super 60s to emerge

Completion at the end of August of the refurbishment of No. 60017, as part of the 'Super Class 60' programme, takes the number of refurbishments to 11, with the programme seemingly set to continue throughout 2013. DB Schenker carries the refurbishments out at itsToton depot, and with 29 of the class stored there, can call on a full range of components. Last month, No. 60020 was removed from theToton compound for work to begin, alongside Nos. 60001 and 60039.
