Design for Lincoln footbridges goes out for consultation

Network Rail has announced dates for the next stage of public consultation in the plan to install footbridges alongside the two level crossings in Lincoln city centre. The crossings - at High Street and Brayford Wharf East -have suffered from misuse by pedestrians and motorists since the old High Street footbridge was removed some years ago. NR says it is taking advice from city and county council representatives and specialists from English Heritage and the Environment Agency to try to find a suitable solution for these sites.
