Preserved Locomotives Enthusiasts Group, in conjunction with Barrow Hill Engine Shed Society, arranged a one-off passenger working with HNRC's Class 08 No. 08502 on June 29. Opportunities to travel behind Class 08s need to be taken up as soon as the chance presents itself because it is uncertain when such events will occur again. The train was top and tailed with Class 03 No. 03066 and comprised BRMk IBFK No. M14007.
