Snow scuppers'Deltic'photo charter

This should have been an East Midlands Railway Photographic Society (EMRPS) charter with No. 55022 Royal Scots Grey on the East Lancashire Railway on February 4, but everything went wrong and the event was abandoned. The preceding steam service left almost an hour late due to the weather and then had to be recovered by the 'Deltic'. By the time the last passengers had been run to their destinations, most of the points had become frozen. The'Deltic' is seen at Bury Bolton Street at the end of the day.
