Cosmetic restoration of TVR No. 28 within touching distance

Around half the sum needed to clear the way for Llangollen Engineering to start cosmetic restoration of NRM-owned 0-6-2TTaff Vale Railway No. 28 has been raised. Another £2,500 will enable work to start, although further donations are needed to ensure progress is maintained. When cosmetic restoration of TVR No. 28 is finished it will go to the Gwili Railway for display at Llwyfan Cerrig with the Gwili's restored Taff Vale coaches (RM April). Completing this phase of the Welsh Train Project is costed at about £10,000.
