Blessed by two'Saints'

To see a pair of locos of the same class together on 10 1/4in gauge is a rarity, but this occurred in mid-May at the Stapleford Miniature Railway when two GWR 'Saint' class 4-6-0s were present. Both are the work of Neil Simkins, but have not been seen together before. No. 2943 Hampton Court (left) is a former Hastings Miniature Railway loco and was built by E W Twining in 1938 for Dudley Zoo.lt was heavily rebuilt by Neil in the 1980s for the then-closed Stapleford line, where it now resides.
