Three new traction depots to be built

Three more new EMU maintenance depots are to be built - at Three Bridges and Hornsey (both for Thameslink trains) and at Millerhill, for the Edinburgh-Glasgow electrification and Waverley route reopening projects. Three Bridges will be a five-road structure with wheel lathe and carriage-washing facilities and Hornsey will be a three-road shed (separate from the First Capital Connect depot). Both are scheduled for completion in 2015.
