Foregate Street bridge repaired

Foregate Street railway bridge in Worcester has been given a makeover costing ￡1.1 million. Built in 1906 to replace an 1860 structure, the bridge, which spans the A38 road, had deteriorated over the years to such an extent that it was placed on Worcester City Council's 'heritage at risk' register.
