High Court throws out HS2 challenge

HS2 took a major leap forward on March 15 when a number of separate bids by anti-HS2 campaigners to force a judicial review into aspects of the scheme were rejected in the High Court. The decision means the ￡33bn project to build the new line from London to Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds can continue.
