Wissington to provide /Middy'steamin 2013

The Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway Society's Hudswell Clarke 0-6-OST Wissington (1700/1938) will provide Mid-Suffolk Light Railway steam throughout 2013. The newly restored loco went to the'Middy' immediately following tests at the North Norfolk Railway, arriving at Brockford station to appear in the MSLR's first-ever gala on July 27-29. The newly agreed hire deal will see Wissington return to the North Norfolk Railway in January 2013 to run until the spring, then return to the Mid-Suffolk in late April to stay until January 2014. Wissington could visit other heritage lines when not required at Brockford.
