The Kent & East Sussex Railway will start its biggest track project in years during January. Lifting and relaying of the layout at Rolvenden - affecting the main line, loop and a siding - will be undertaken prior to laying track towards the new four-road carriage shed, being built at the southern end of the yard. New tracks will be laid on the shed site - the western side of the running line, opposite the sewerage works-short of the building location. The lines will be extended inside following construction of the 500,000 building.
