Due to extraordinary demand, one of the most extensive and expensive railway books in publishing history has been reprinted as a fine new edition. The first volume of Colonel Cobb's remarkable magnum opus appeared in 2003 and was followed by a revised and updated second edition three years later. Both have now sold out, along with various reprints, so Patrick Cobb, son of the late author, has produced this third edition, containing additional editorial material.
