'Written-off Class 156 returned to service

A CLASS 156 DMU that was involved in an accident and then was written off after becoming marooned in floods has been returned to service. ScotRail set No. 156478 ran into floodwater in December 2014, between Kilmarnockand Auchinleck, with the interior being flooded to almost seat height. Two years previously, the unit had been derailed by landslide debris in the Falls of Cruachan.
