Platform work progressing at new £10m Ilkeston station

PLATFORMS for the new £10million Ilkeston station are taking shape and can be seen as Northern Class 158 No. 158851 passes by while operating the 13.17 Nottingham-Leeds service on October 21. This hourly interval train will call at the new station once it is open, together with some of the East Midlands Trains'services operating on the Liverpool to Norwich route.
