Romney loco derailed in crossing collision

Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway Davey Paxman 4-6-2 No. 1 Green Goddess ended up on its side after colliding with a farm tractor at about 14.30 on September 10, reports Cliff Thomas. The incident took pace at occupation crossing No. 10, between Dymchurch and Burmarsh. The 12-coach train was carrying around 50 passengers. There were no serious injuries, but five people, including the loco driver, suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene by paramedics.
