Midland Metro'Urbos 3'No. 35 breaks the official ceremonial tape on December 6 to mark the return of trams to Birmingham's streets for the first time since 1953. The tram is approaching the new Bull Street stop, which will act as a temporary terminus until the line is further extended to Stephenson Street, next to New Street railway station, early in 2016. The £128million extension from Snow Hill station will also have a stop at Corporation Street. Delays were experienced in the first days of the new service as pedestrians were often walking in front of the trams without looking.
