THE Railway Preservation Society of Ireland (RPSI) will mark seven decades since the GNR(I) introduced the'Enterprise' on August 11,1947 by running a '70~(th) Anniversary Enterprise' railtour from Belfast to Dublin on September 24. The special train will once again pitch GNR(I) 'V'class Compound 4-4-0 No. 85 Merlin against the GNR(I) main line, and is expected to run non-stop between Ireland's two capitals and return.
