Prince Charles Honoured with RCMP Title

Prince Charles Was named an honorary commissioner of the RCMP during a three-day visit to Canada to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, which celebrates her 60 years as head of the British Monarchy. Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced the honour for Prince Charles following a performance by the Regina Symphony Orchestra at the RCMP's training centre in Saskatchewan. Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker Bowles, the Duchess of Cornwall, touched down on Canadian soil May 21, 2012, with stops in New Brunswick, Ontario and Saskatchewan.
