Target and Foundation Offer Scholarships to Third Installment of the law Enforcement Business Fellowship

In early 2009, the IACP Foundation and members of the Target leadership team came together to discuss the challenges faced by contemporary law enforcement in obtaining timely, relevant, and novel training opportunities. Chief among those challenges were two distinct concerns: first, the very real and persistent economic factors forcing many agencies to curtail any "nonessential" training due to a lack of funding and, second, the deficit of diversity and innovation in many existing leadership programs.
