Report: International Conference on Control & Instrumentation in Nuclear Installations

摘要

A short article was published in 'The Nuclear Engineer' (in Issue 6,1994), describing control and instrumentation as an essential tool in ensuring the safe and economic operation of all nuclear installations. The article provided a taste of what could be expected to be presented and discussed at the Institution's Second International Conference on C&I at Churchill College, Cambridge, in April 1995. It is pleasing to report that the Conference was judged as a most successful event. It provided all those attending with much information with which to update their technical knowledge as well as representing a forum for the interchange of experience. In these and a number of other ways, the event proved more successful than the first conference on the subject, held in Glasgow in 1990.
