Annual meeting the Narragansett Water Pollution Control Association (NWPCA) held its annual Holiday Party and Election of Officers on December 4 in Cranston. As part of this event each year, NWPCA collects non-perishable food items to donate to the Rhode Island Food Bank. This year, NWPCA donated 400 pounds of food and $75 to the Food Bank. The NWPCA Executive Board for 2013 is as follows: President, Douglas Nettleton (Town of Narragansett); Vice President, Scott Goodinson (Warwick Sewer Authority); Treasurer, Joseph LaPlante (Narragansett Bay Commission); Secretary, Kathy Perez (Town of South Kingstown); Board Member, Bernard Bishop (Town of West Warwick); Board Member, Tom Ciolfi (United Water - East Providence); Board Member, Ronald Goodinson, Jr. (Narragansett Bay Commission); Board Member, Mike Spring (Narragansett Bay Commission); Director of Vendor/Consultant Coordination, Bob Mack (New England Environmental Equipment, Inc.); Director of Vendor/Consultant Coordination, Jim DeLuca (Aqua Solutions, Inc.); and Representative to Operator Certification Board, Paul Desrosiers (Narragansett Bay).
