Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., (MES) has announced the delivery of its latest vessel Medi Paestum.rnThe 56,000dwt type bulk carrier was completed and delivered at its Tamano Works on 1 September, 2009 to Helios Navigation Inc., Liberia.rnMedi Paestum is a handy-max bulk carrier with a cargo hold capacity over 70,000m3 and also marks the 90th ship of its series.rnThe vessel is 189.99m in length overall with a length between perpendiculars of 182m. The breadth of the vessel is 32.26m and has a depth of 17.90m, with a gross tonnage of 31,229tonnes. The vessel is powered by a Mitsui-MAN B&W diesel engine 6S50MCC and has a service speed of 14.5knots.
