Turbines delivered for DDG 51 restart

GE Marine recently delivered eight LM2500 marine gas turbines that will power the US Navy's DDG 113 and DDG 115 destroyers, in the DDG 51 restart programme and says that, commencing with this programme, the US Navy has adopted GE's LM2500 'common engine initiative.'
