Rising to meet the tide

GustoMSC's CJ series of drilling jack-ups have evolved over more than three decades to meet the changing demands of the oil and gas operating environment. The development of the CJ series began in the late 1970s. In response to North Sea operational requirements, the then newly formed GustoMSC developed the CJ46 drilling jack-up design. In total, four units were built for two different owners; these units are still in operation for Noble Drilling. These early CJ series units were already equipped with the GustoMSC fixation system, fabricated by the yard.
