Shipyard De Hoop to complete transmix OSV

Shipyard De Hoop has secured a fast turnaround contract to build a 68.23m x 15.77m multipurpose OSV for operator Awaritse Nigeria Limited (ANL), intended for operation in the Shell Nigeria and Chevron offshore fields off the Nigerian coastline. Scheduled for delivery in Q4 2014, the vessel will be built to the specifications of an intermix / transmix design, handling the discharge of transmix liquids. These liquids are chiefly a by-product of oil production, often containing a blend of gasoline, diesel and other fuel types which need to be separated.
