Cracking curtails use of Armidale class

The Australian media reports that at least six Armidale-class patrol boats used by the Royal Australian Navy have been docked at the Darwin Naval Base amid concerns over structural cracks. Large cracks were found near the engine room of one of the Armidale-class patrol boats according to an Australian newspaper, however this is not the first time cracks have been found in the boats.
