UK based Ocean Safety, has designed its first commercial twin chamber lifejacket. The K2 275N range offers a twin chamber lifejacket that is approved to SOLAS MED Ship's Wheel and is manufactured under the accredited Lloyds Register ISO 9001 quality system. The K2 is designed to be extremely compact and unobtrusive, so it is wearable by professional mariners and personnel working next to water, whilst undertaking all types of work, says the company. The K2 has an AQ40L lifejacket light fitted as standard, and is equipped so that it can be fitted with a Kannad RIO Survival Recovery System AIS Beacon. The lifejacket is available in two covers: standard nylon cover in navy and red, and industrial grade cover for heavier duty work situations.
