Dear Sir, I note with interest the authors' reply which really doesn't deal directly with the points I made in my last letter. 1) It does not matter how long the CDTS system has been patented, other than perhaps emphasising the industry has not adopted the idea for over 40 years. 2) Table 2 of the response, although it has I think some simple mathematical errors in it, confirms the CDTS 'increases' not 'significantly decreases gross tonnage.
