CFD helps foster innovation

摘要

This study was primarily focused on showcasing how current state-of-the-art CFD technology allows for the exploration and testing of ideas, such as a performance optimisation study on a novel green energy concept under several wind conditions. The parametrisation of the geometry, achieved using 3D CAD in STAR-CCM+, created the possibility for exposing all the design parameters in HEEDS/Optimate+ and easily updating the configuration during the run.
