Aker to build more PSVs for 'K' Line

Aker Yards has signed a contract with "K" Line Offshore AS to build four platform supply vessels of Aker Yards design PSV 06 CD. The total value of this contract is approximately NOK 1.4 billion ($258 million) and delivery of the four vessels is scheduled between fourth quarter of 2010 and third quarter of 2011. The Japanese "K" Line is one of the world's largest ship owners/operators, mainly focusing on container, car carriers, bulk, LNG and tankers.
