VOS Tracker-the ultimate ERR vessel

Earlier this year at Damen Shipyards' subsidiary Maaskant in Stellendam, The Netherlands, the naming of a small but important vessel took place. Named VOS Tracker, this is the first in a series of four sister ships, all being built for Vroon Offshore Services, the leading supplier of Emergency Rescue & Response Vessels Services in the North Sea and more in particular on the Dutch and UK continental shelves. The innovative design of the vessels was carried out by Damen Shipyards, in close consultation with Vroon, and is specifically designed for Emergency Response and Rescue duties, i.e. as an ERR vessel. The design is called the Damen Standby Safety Vessel 4711 and is classed by Lloyds Register.
