Sandia is evaluating the degree to which existing finite element computer codes can predict the structural behavior of containment buildings beyond the elastic range. The study also is attempting to discover whether any intrinsic functional relationship exists relating leakage to pressure. Test equipment and instrumentation are described. (ERA citation 08:026287)
