MAN Diesel reports that its Shanghai office has recently landed a repeat engine contract for a floating crane for China's fast-growing offshore industry. The self-propelled, DP-equipped vessel will have a diesel electric plant powered seven 9L32/40 engines. The 4,400 tonne capacity crane vessel is a larger version of a previous MAN powered design, also built by Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery.rnThe total installed power of 31.5 MW will supply six thrusters as well as the hotel supply for 250 people.
