Lifejackets for new 2010 SOLAS regulations

Lalizas of Greece has updated its SOLAS lifejacket range in advance of the new regulations that will come into force on 1 July 2010.rnThe company's new Advanced series of SOLAS Lifejackets is designed to comply with the IMO Resolutions MSC.201(81), MSC.207(81), MSC.200(80), MSC.226(82), MSC.218(82), and MSC.216(82), which will become mandatory for all lifejackets. The company says that the new regulations radically change not only the lifejackets' structure, but also the general in water performance. Higher requirements have been instigated regarding not only the lifejacket's ergonomic fit, but also safety in case of emergency.
