摘要

The 1-7-5 Awards aim to recognise innovation in small and medium-sized councils. looks at six entries and the ways in which they have approached modernising local government. The modern system of local government is emerging from a multitude of changes and experiments. Councils are trying out ways of aligning their annual budget setting process with public priorities.
