The U.S. Coast Guard has the enduring responsibility to safeguard the American people and promote safety, security, and sound stewardship in a complex and persistently evolving global maritime environment. We are a military service, a law enforcement organization, a regulatory agency, a first responder, and a member of the intelligence community. With unique authorities, broad jurisdiction, flexible operational capabilities, and an expansive network of domestic and international partnerships, the Coast Guard advances national security, economic prosperity, environmental stewardship, and addresses emerging national priorities in the homeland and across the globe. The Coast Guard Civil Engineering Program supports the facility needs for active duty, reserves, civilians, auxiliarists, and our families as the Coast Guard executes its 11 statutory missions. We are working to deliver and maintain the right facilities for the mission and improving our business processes-and need industry's partnership to meet both tasks.
