NAVFAC: Delivering Mission Capability as Required

Mullen's words are right on target. NAVFAC is going through a period of change I certainly did not envision in 2002 as Operations Officer for the Command. The pace and volume of work now expected of our military, civilians and contractors, five more years into the Global War on Terror (GWOT), are unprecedented. Now, more than ever, NAVFAC must be innovative, responsive and sufficiendy agile to stay ahead of an ever-changing operational and business environment. Against this backdrop, NAVFAC and the Seabees continue to answer the call around the world, and are in high demand due to their unique skills. Our U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps Supported Commanders rely heavily upon our technical expertise to accomplish their warfighting missions safely, professionally and legally.
