Maximizing the Value of BIM

Increasingly, government agencies are embracing building information modeling (BIM) lifecycle capabilities for the same reasons private industry has: to improve communication among stakeholders, maximize efficiency, cut costs during design, construction, operations and maintenance, and analyze and implement sustainability features. The General Services Administration (GSA) was among the first to realize BIM could help government achieve efficiency and cost savings.
