Seabees Provide Border Security Support in Arizona

Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 133's Seabees worked alongside NMCB-14 in Arizona to increase border security. These hard-working Seabees built a 1,500-ft concrete drainage ditch along with a 10-ft concrete wall over a period of 51 workdays.rnShortly after the "Running Roos" returned from deployment in January, they received a call that the border patrol in Douglas, Ariz., needed help increasing border security. NMCB-133 provided a detachment of 20 personnel consisting of engineering aides, equipment operators, builders and steel-workers who worked alongside reservist Seabees from NMCB-14.
