ERDC PROVIDES SUPPORT FOLLOWING PAKISTAN FLOOD

The ERDC Corps of Engineers Reach-back Operations Center (UROC) is providing support to the flood-ravaged country of Pakistan after the country was thrust into disaster following July and August monsoon rains. The BBC reported that nearly 2,000 Pakistanis died and more than 21 million were injured or lost their homes. According to CNN, one-third of the country was affected by the disaster and many remote villages were cut off after roads and bridges were swept away.
