DRILLING DEEP IN HONDURAS

Well-drilling by the 823rd Expeditionary RED HORSE Squadron, out of Hurlburt Field, Fla., is on track to soon be complete at a site in Aguan, Honduras. The well, approximately 220-ft deep, is expected to produce between 35,000-gal and 45,000-gal of clean drinking water a day once operational. This will support from 4,500 to 6,000 people per day. The well-drilling team is conducting operations in Honduras as part of New Horizons Honduras 2015.
