Noel Coward once wrote a rather camp song exhorting a 'Mrs Worthington' not to put her daughter on the stage, giving some very pertinent reasons why not. If he had still been around to read the last edition of The Log, Coward might well have amended his song and recommended that none of the little Worthingtons should ever take up a career in aviation.
