Being the last technical meeting of David Aspley's chairmanship it was good to see it well attended by over 110 members and guests. David has provided us with an enjoyable year with a mix of well-presented and interesting papers.. This meeting was no exception. Three papers were presented on the theme of electrical requirements, testing and fault finding. John Rogers of AGR Systems started us off well with a paper looking at the Regulations concerning isolators, switches, cutouts, disconnectors and terminations in relation to highway power supplies. His presentation was based on the requirements of the Electricity at Work Act, BS7671 and the Manual of Contract Documents for Highways Works.
